50# RENOVATOR PASTURE MIX
Renovator Pasture Mix was designed for renovating pastures or hay fields./ The mix adds very palatable and high quality grasses into the pasture with quick return. Many farmers and horse owners have grazed as early as six weeks after sowing Renovator Special. The grasses that make up this mix are easily established and can be frost-seeded, no-tilled, or overseeded into established fields. horse owners, dairy, beef, and sheep producers can all benefit from using Renovator Pature Mix. It preforms well for multiple harves schemes including green-chop, haylage, and grazing. Renovator Special is endophyte-free. This blend includes Festulolium which is a cross of Perennial Ryegrass and Meadow Fescue, Tetraploid Ryegrass, and short rotation Ryegrass. Applications for this blend include renovating existing pastures, starting a new pasture of hay field for dairies where and abundance of nitrogen exists, or improve weak Alfalfa stands. Use of a Cosmo seeder, a no-till drill, or a cultipacker is the ideal methods for seeding. Frost seeding works well also, especially if the animals are allowed to " hoof" it into the existing pasture. Seed to soil contact is vital to having a successful stand.

50# ORCHARDGRASS
ORCHARDGRASS is a bunch-type, tall-growing, cool-season perennial grass. It is one of the most productive cool-season grasses, tolerant to shade, fairly drought resistant with moderate winter hardiness. It produces an excellent pasture grass, especially for horses and cattle, and can be used in wildlife food plots for deer, turkey and quail. Orchardgrass also makes an excellent hay production crop when planted with legumes such as Ladino (white) clover or red clover. It can withstand trampling and heavy grazing, has a high nutrient content, is a great green manure crop and is used as green chop (fed directly to livestock wet). When properly maintained and established, planted with clovers or alfalfa, Orchard grass will survive as a pasture grass for several years. Seed in March - April and August - September at 10-15 lbs per acre or 6-8 lbs per acre in a legume mixture with a depth of 1/4 " to 1/2 ." A soil test is recommended for proper fertilization.
