50# ORCHARDGRASS
ORCHARDGRASS is a bunch-type, tall-growing, cool-season perennial grass. It is one of the most productive cool-season grasses, tolerant to shade, fairly drought resistant with moderate winter hardiness. It produces an excellent pasture grass, especially for horses and cattle, and can be used in wildlife food plots for deer, turkey and quail. Orchardgrass also makes an excellent hay production crop when planted with legumes such as Ladino (white) clover or red clover. It can withstand trampling and heavy grazing, has a high nutrient content, is a great green manure crop and is used as green chop (fed directly to livestock wet). When properly maintained and established, planted with clovers or alfalfa, Orchard grass will survive as a pasture grass for several years. Seed in March - April and August - September at 10-15 lbs per acre or 6-8 lbs per acre in a legume mixture with a depth of 1/4 " to 1/2 ." A soil test is recommended for proper fertilization.

50# TIMOTHY GRASS
TIMOTHY is a vigorous, cool-season, bunch-type perennial with stems larger than most grasses. It is very leafy and matures early. It is a good companion grass with most hay legumes and is a favorite for horses. It is high in fiber, especially when cut late. It is considered part of the standard mix for hay and provides quality nutrition for horses. Timothy hay is a staple food for domestic pet rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas. It works best for pastures in a rotational grazing program. It's also used for deer feed and provides good insect-feeding areas for turkeys. Timothy has a shallow root system that does not allow it to handle drought and heat stress very well. Seed in February 0 March and August 0 October at 6-10 lbs per acre with a depth of 0" to 0." A soil test is recommended for proper fertilization.

HOUNDOG FESCUE PER POUND 50#
HOUNDOG 6 TALL FESCUE is a new and improved tall fescue variety developed for superior turf quality. It has high heat and disease resistance, and is used in a wide range of adaptations such as lawns, playing fields and golf coarse roughs. Houndog 6 is a very dark green, moderately fine textured tall fescue with excellent wear tolerance. With proper management it can survive in densely shaded sites and remain green throughout the growing season. It is well adapted to the "transition zone" where summers are too hot and humid for cool season grasses and winters too cold for warm season grasses. Houndog 6 It is fully endophyte enhanced, which provides increased resistance to a number of leaf and crown feeding insects and nematodes. The presence of endophyte also contributes to improved biotic and abiotic stress tolerance, improved seedling establishment, enhanced spring/fall recovery and reduced summer/winter weed invasion. Seed at a rate of 8-10 lbs per 1000 sq ft. Over-seed at a rate of 3-5 lbs per 1000 sq ft.
